Baby Shower!

We recently had a baby shower for Jeisson and Gina, the couple that is working with us in our ministry here in Fontibon. It was a fun time with crazy games and a sweet time for the people of our church to share gifts and counsel with them as they prepare for the arrival of Matías!

Youth Group Time

Our co-worker Jeisson leading a game during our youth group time. Many of our teens recently went to teen camp and we are excited to see God working in their lives! Pray for Jeisson, his wife Gina,  and our ABWE co-worker Marissa as they have discipleships with our teens. 

English class fun!

This was a special outreach to our community as we invited children to come for an English class. They are enjoying labeling Tim and Marissa with papers naming body parts. We also had a children's min-book about Psalm 139 as we learned more about how great our God is! We are planning another class at the end of July and appreciate your prayers!

Special Blessing!

Marissa Dickey is a co-worker with ABWE and has recently chosen to come and work with us in our church in Fontibon! She is very gifted in photography and media and has already been a blessing to many of our churches here as she has helped with videos and pictures. She will be helping with our S.S. program and also with our youth. Our teen girls are looking forward to having times of discipleship with her and we are so excited to have her working alongside of us!

Men's Day at camp

Our men had a great day of fellowship as they were challenged with the life of Joshua and enjoyed lots of good food and games. There were 550 men in attendance from our churches around Bogota!

Teacher Training Class

What an encouraging time it was for us as this great group of people came out to learn more about teaching the Bible. Heidi Gott, one of our fellow missionaries, came to challenge our people in preparing themselves spiritually and how to effectively prepare lessons. We are blessed to work alongside these people in our church!

Our church building is expanding!

What a joy it has been to see our church growing and needing a bigger space to meet in. We also were able to rent the room across the hall for our children to meet in because they had been meeting in the room that you see behind (from L-R) Jeisson, Javier, and Tim. Our church is rejoicing in how God is leading us here in Fontibon!

ABWE Colombia field team

Our Colombia field team that is working in Bogota, Santa Marta, and Medellin. We are so thankful to be working with (from right to left) Jon and Holly Boyd and family, Daniel and Jennifer Mee and family, Heidi Gott, Peter Hudson, and Marissa Dickey as we make plans together with our Colombian co-workers to reach Colombia for Christ! We appreciate your prayers for our team!

Christmas lunch!

Enjoying a Christmas lunch together and praising God for our family here to celebrate this special time of year. There was a 2016 Daily Bread gift book for each family, and fun activity books for the children. It has been a blessing to hear how our families are enjoying their devotional time together, pray for them as they learn to make this an important part of each day!

Church decorating!

 We were so thankful for this creative group of people who came out to help decorate our church for Christmas! A midst a lot of laughter, we made many of our decorations and had a wonderful time serving together!
